At first glance, the sand looks like a bunch of tiny brown stone, which is frequently encountered on the beach and decorated with crushed seashells or fish stranded.
However, the sand is actually more beautiful and far more interesting than in the visible to invisible. The sand itself is actually a form of art. Sand consists of explosive remnants of volcanoes, eroded mountains, the organisms die, and even man-made structures, sand can reveal the history of biology and geology-both-local environment. Gary Greenberg, a scientist doing research more deeply about the sand and the sand has turned color and exceptional both in terms of form and texture and is actually very pretty like other precious stones. The difference is only possible because a lot of sand in number (not rare) so the price is so worthless.
Below are photographs taken by Greenberg with the use of equipment using 3D Edge Microscope. This picture is in 3D and with 110x magnification.
